Navion Rangemaster H

12” x 24”

Completed 2011. Christmas gift for Navion pilot.
“Dream Beams”

20” x 24”

Completed 2005. This was my
graduation gift to our son when he left Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. It suggests the Spirit of St. Louis as it leaves the certainty of a landscape and begins the uncertain flight across the unknown ocean.
Cessna 172N

16” x 28”

Completed 2011. Christmas gift showing aircraft in sunset.
Globe SWIFT

24” x 44”

Completed 2006. Panel depicts customer’s award-winning Swift in flight over Arizona mountainscape, including saguaro cactus. Installed as part of his back-bar decor.
Lancair COLUMBIA 400

47’ x 56”

Completed 2004. Customer placed order for this composition BEFORE he took delivery of his aircraft. For installation in his new south Florida home, he wanted the design to suggest a Caribbean setting. The work also includes his Fountain Lightning Power Boat. This work was also featured at the EAA AirVenture 2004 at the Lancair display.
Lake LA-4 Buccaneer

29” x 29”

Completed 2006. Ordered by customer in New Hampshire for use in their residence.
RV-4

20" x 30"

Completed 2005. This was a gift commissioned by the staff of Kellogg Company's Aviation Department to honor its Chief Pilot upon his retirement. It depicts the aircraft he flew for Kellogg's, the Dassault Falcon 900, shown as a 'fading memory', while the homebuilt RV-4 he worked on during his pre-retirement time is highlighted in the forground, suggesting the transition from work to retirement's joy, flying his own plane.
Mooney

18” x 52”

Completed 2002. This project was developed by the aircraft owner (shown with the panel as it was installed) to be used as a room divider on a hip-wall that separated his kitchen from a sitting room. He later installed custom lighting that gives the impression of runway approach lights. This was also my first ergonomically-designed composition. “A very satisfied customer!”
Mitsubishi MU-2

18” x 33”

Completed 2005. Ordered by employees as a gift for their plane-owner employer. Plane depicted in flight over coastal landscape.
Stinson 108-3

Stinson VOYAGER

COMPLETED 2000. Basic representation of a basic planform for 1940’s general aviation aircraft.
CGS Hawk 25 Ultralight

22" x 30"

Completed 2007. Purchased as a gift dedicated to the pilot who first test-flew this UL. And this was my our first Ultra-light artwork.
St. Louis U
3-plane tribute

24” x 34”

Completed 2005. This window was a graduation gift from a very proud mother, depicting the three types of aircraft flown by her son in his pursuit of his ‘wings’ at the school in St. Louis, as suggested by a flash of the famous ‘Gateway to the West’ arch.
Socata TBM 850

54" x 53”

Completed 2010. Socata overflying runway 10-28 at Genesee County airport, Batavia, NY.
ERAU Cafeteria

36" x 72" each

Completed 2003 - 2005. The trio of window panels was installed in the cafeteria at the Prescott, Arizona campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The Cessna 172 and Piper PA-44 designs were completed in 2003 and honor both the 25th anniversary of the Prescott campus AND the 2003 NIFA national champion Flight Team from ERAU-Prescott. The Seminoles flying over local landmark Granite Mountain was to suggest the traditional graduation day fly-over of the campus. It was installed in 2005.
Ercoupe at Sunset

24" x 28"

Completed 2011. Ercoupe alone in sunset. Christmas gift."
Mooney ‘Wild’

36' x 48"

Completed 2006. What is wild is the paint scheme. The panel was a gift from the owner's wife. She said he chose the colors 'to be different.' Indeed. A real eye-grabber!
3 Floatplanes

30" x 78"

Completed 2006. This panel was made to fit in the customer's refurbished machine shop in his barn. He first met us at the EAA in 2005, then built out the window to allow for the artwork. Planes featured in this northwoods setting are two De Havilland Beavers and a Cessna 180.
L-39

24" Diameter

Completed 2009. This panel is the third 'rondelle' design for the customer. The others are his Citation 501 and the Robinson Raven helicopter. All three appear on this website's Contact page.
