l972. This was the artist’s very first window composition. It depicts a Milwaukee Electric (TMER&L CO) interurban car that roamed the Wisconsin rails in the 1930s and 1940s. It was made, in part, from opalescent glass scraps from the real cars that were cut up in 1950. As part of its permanent art collection, this window panel is on display in the Golda Meir Library at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Almost Indigos
23" x 27"
Completed 2010. This work captures the mood and tone of those special sunsets enjoyed by sailors for centuries. Incorporating just the right sheet of glass that suggests the wave action and wake of this Cheoy Lee Yacht named “My Way” is the element that “sells” the story of the composition. Including subtle details such as running and navigation lights with the silhouette shapes help to create the Mood. The Tone is a product of the sunsetting colors. This one literally had to be seen to be fully appreciated.
Mesa Morning
